One Arrested and One Wanted in the Shooting Murder of Annalicia Perry

On August 23, 2006, Homicide detectives secured an arrest warrant for 19 year-old Steven Sayles of Dorchester charging him with Accessory After Fact for the shooting murder of Annalicia Perry. Today Sayles, accompanied by his attorney, surrendered himself to Boston Police Homicide investigators and will be arraigned this afternoon at Roxbury District Court.The Boston Police Department continue to ask for the public’s help in locating Laron Lewis Richardson, 18*, of Jamaica Plain. Detectives from the Homicide Unit applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Richardson charging him with Murder. At this time, Richardson remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous.
At 11:26 pm on Saturday, July 22, officers responded to 39 Annunciation Road, Roxbury for a person shot. There, officers located Ms. Perry suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the face. She was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead at 2:24 am.
