Drug Arrest At 120 Tremont StreetWhile on patrol in the Downtown Crossing Area, an officer from District 1 was approached by a citizen who stated that he observed an unknown male selling drug inside the Burger King at 120 Tremont Street. Further investigation by officer observed an unknown male, fitting the description, engaged in a conversation with two other males. Officer observed numerous families with children inside the restaurant. The three suspects appeared to have no food or beverages from the establishment. Officers observed a white napkin on the floor below the suspect’s open hand. Officers retrieved the napkin, which contained six smaller plastic bags of a brown colored powder. Vincent Walker, 40, of Boston, charged with Possession of Class A. Mathew Jackson, 31, of Boston charged with Being in Company of Person in Possession of Heroin and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle. Also arrested, William Canuel, 42, of Boston charged with Being in Company of Person in Possession of Heroin and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle. Officers did recover drugs from the suspects.
Person Shot at Shawmut Avenue and Williams Avenue
Last night around 11:49pm, officers in District 2 responded to New England Medical Center on a report of a person shot. On arrival officers were directed to the victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot. The victim was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
