Breaking and Entering Ends in ArrestYesterday around 2:25pm, officers in district 3 responded to a radio call for a breaking and entering at Harvard and Millet Street. On arrival officers observed the suspect in the yard. The suspect stated to officers that he was hired by a guy to clean the yard. The suspect was observed removing boxes of flooring from the first floor apartment. Officers also observed the suspect with a box of flooring upon arrival. Officers spoke with owner who stated no one should be working around the house. Tracy Parks, 44, of Dorchester was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering and Larceny from a Building.
Two People Shot On Bowdoin Street
This morning around 12:11am, officers in District 11 responded to a radio call for a person shot at Bowdoin and Draper Streets. On arrival officers located two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wound. Both victims were transported to Boston Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Man Arrested for Tagging
Early this morning while on patrol in District 14 officers observed the suspect on his knees in front of a utility box at 510 Cambridge Street. Officers observed the suspect tagging the utility box with a white marker. The suspect observed the police and attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended. Officers observed the same tagging in ten different locations on Brighton Avenue. Victor Aldana, 23, of Lawrence was placed under arrested and charged with Damage to Property by Graffiti/Tagging.
Drug Arrest at Blue Hill Avenue and Georgia Street
Around 4:30am this morning, officers in District 2 observed a drug transaction at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Georgia Street. Officers observed one suspect hand a glassine bag to another suspect. As the officer approached the suspects, one of the suspects threw a glassine bag to the ground. Brandon Rose, 20, of Roxbury and Vastine Simmons, 34, of Dorchester were both arrested and charged with Possession of Class D. Officers did recover drugs from the suspects.
