Dorchester Homicide Victim Identified

This morning around 12:32am, officers in District 11 responded to a radio call for shots fired and a person shot at 156 Washington Street. On arrival officers discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Chucuma Omar Browning, 17, of Dorchester, was transported to Boston Medical Center and pronounced. Victim #2, whose identification will not be released because it is a witness to the homicide, was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where it’s injuries were considered non-life threatening.Boston Police Homicide detectives are investigating this death and ask anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470 or to remain anonymous call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS.
