At 3:38am this morning police in Brighton were notified that a black Jeep, with a flashing blue light, had just pulled over a car on Ashford Street, ordered the occupant out of the car and then fled the area. According to the victim, he was driving on Ashford Street when he noticed the flashing blue light behind him. He pulled to the side of the road to let the car pass and it pulled in behind him. The victim told the officers that a male and female both exited the Jeep and ordered him to exit the vehicle and place his hands on the hood. After the victim complied, the male suspect yelled, “You got punked” while throwing a bottle of water at the victim and then fled the area. The victim then followed the suspect Jeep while contacting the State Police from a cell phone. State Police eventually stopped the suspects on Cambridge Street in Brighton with the assistance of the Boston Police. The male suspect, Richard Davis, 23 of Brighton, was placed under arrest by the State Police for operating under the influence of alcohol. Both he and his female passenger, 22-year-old Carla Pherson, are both charged by Boston Police with impersonating a police officer. Officers seized a blue light from the suspect’s Jeep as evidence. Davis’ Jeep was towed and Boston College police gave Ms. Pherson a lift back to the B.C. campus. I guess you could say the joke is on them.
