Quincy Man Arrested Tagging BuildingOfficers in District 11 responded to a call at 1224 Dorchester Avenue at 3:25am this morning for a vandalism in progress. According to a witness, a male was spray painting graffiti on the exterior of a building on Dorchester Avenue. Officers located the suspect 29-year-old Brian O’Riordan of Quincy, and arrested him for spray painting graffiti on the building. Inside the suspect’s car officers recovered five cans of spray paint. O’Riordan was arrested for damage to property by graffiti.
Roxbury Home Hit by Bullet
Officers in District 2 responded to 118 Hutchings Street in Roxbury at 2:39am this morning on a report of a shot being fired. Officers spoke with the occupants of the residence who stated they heard one gunshot and noticed a hole in an interior wall of the home. No one was injured in the early morning shooting and ballistic evidence was recovered from inside the home. Detectives are investigating.
