Four Arrested after Robbing Victim of Cross and Chain

An 18-year-old male from Dorchester walked into District 3 this morning to report he was robbed while in his motor vehicle that was stopped at a red light at Blue Hill Avenue and American Legion Highway. The victim states that 5 black males exited a Dodge Caravan, which was stopped behind him at the traffic light. One suspect approached him, with his hands in his pants motioning that he had a gun, and stole the victim’s gold chain from around his neck. The suspects fled in the vehicle and District 3 notified Boston Police Operations and provided them a description of the suspects and vehicle that was broadcasted to the officers in the Street.About an hour later, officers patrolling in District 3 observed the vehicle that was wanted for the unarmed robbery traveling on Blue Hill Avenue toward Grove Hall. The Officers activated their cruiser’s emergency equipment and attempted to stop the motor vehicle. The operator of the vehicle refused to stop for the officers. Eventually with the assistance of officers from District 2 the suspect vehicle was stopped at Hutchings Street and Elm Hill Avenue.
The victim and a witness positively identified all four occupants of the vehicle as the suspects that robbed him at Blue hill Ave and American Legion Highway. Recovered from one of the suspects was the victim’s gold chain and cross. All four were transported to District 3 where they were booked. While being processed, one suspect dropped two plastic bags of marijuana on the floor. The following people were arrested for Unarmed Robbery: Aaron James Terrell Boyd, 17, of Roxbury; Jahmol Antione Norfleet, 20, of Roxbury; Richard Nichols, 20, of Dorchester, and Eric Jackson, 18, of Roxbury who was also charged with Possession Class D.
