Four Arrested for Schlitzin’ in PublicWhile assigned to Operation “Safe Neighborhood” last evening at approximately 6:00pm, officers from District A1 observed four individuals at 1 Winthrop Square drinking from 12-ounce cans of Schlitz beer. The officers also noticed discarded empty cans strewn about the park. Brian Laskowski, 24, of Jamaica Plain, Michael Reinhalter, 25, of Dorchester, Kaethe Hostetter, 24, of Roxbury, and Jennifer Sicora, 23, of Somerville were all arrested for drinking in public.
Dorchester Man Stabbed on Washington Street
Last night at 10:10pm, officers responded to Boston Medical Center for a stabbing. The victim, a 25-year-old Dorchester man, stated he was walking on Washington Street toward Massachusetts Avenue when two unknown black males approached him and stabbed him in the stomach and upper back. The suspects stole the victim’s gold chain before fleeing the scene. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Search Warrant Results in Drug Arrests
While executing a Roxbury Court Search Warrant yesterday afternoon at 10 Folsom Street, officers made three on-sight arrests. While searching an apartment, officers seized multiple bags of crack cocaine. Sharod Hopkins, 33, was arrested for Trafficking Class B Drugs within 100 Feet of a Playground and Jonathan Jemmott, 25, was arrested for Possession of Class D. A third individual trying to gain access to the apartment during the search became disorderly with police. Ronald Hopkins, 34, of South Boston, was arrested for Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.
