Daily Incidents For June 16, 2006

Person Shot at 26 Horan WayLast night around 11:15pm, officers in District 13 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 26 Huron Way. On arrival officers observed the victim, a 17-year-old black male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was treated by Boston Ems and transported to an area hospital where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Gun Arrest on Allstate Road
Last night around 10:13pm, officers from the Youth Violence Strike Force heard about 3 to 4 loud shots. Minute’s later officers observed silver motor vehicle operating at a high rate of speed without headlights down New Market Square Road. Officers attempted to make a motor vehicle stop by activating their emergency equipment, but the suspects refused to stop for officers. The suspect’s vehicle made an erratic turn striking a motor vehicle at Allstate Road and 93 South. The two victims’ in the motor vehicle were transported to area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Dorchester resident Daniel Martin, 20, was charged with Dangerous Weapon Unlawfully Carried, unlawful Possession of Firearm, Possession of Firearm with Altered Serial Numbered and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Johnathan Santos, 18, was charged with Dangerous Weapon Unlawfully Carried, Unlawful Possession of Firearm, Possession of Firearm with altered Serial Numbers and Speeding. Also arrested was Danielson Fernandes, 20, of New Bedford was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm with Altered Serial Numbers and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. Officers did recover 2 Firearm from the suspects.
