About 1:40am this morning officers from District 3 were called to 1000 Blue Hill Avenue, the Caribbean Culture Center, for a person shot. Officers located three victims all suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One victim, Rashaan Dowman, 24, of Dorchester was pronounced dead at the scene, two others were taken to an area hospital.Boston Police Homicide Detectives continue to investigate yesterday’s shooting at 1000 Blue Hill Avenue in Dorchester. Investigators are asking people that were inside the club (before, during, or after) the shooting, and witnessed anything, to contact the Boston Police Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS. This is an anonymous tip line where people with information about the shooting may provide it to police without identifying themselves.
