Cambridge Cab Driver Cries No FareOfficers in District 4 observed a Cambridge taxi pick up two females at 350 Boylston Street at about 2:50am this morning. Officers stopped the taxi and were told by the driver, “Boston cabs pick up in Cambridge all the time.” Officers informed the driver, 53-year-old Gergi Daaboul of Woburn, that he was under arrest for violating out of town cab City Ordinance. The officers called a Boston cab for the two females.
Loaded 9mm Recovered During Traffic Stop
Officers in District 3 stopped a vehicle traveling on Harvard Street for operating without headlights illuminated at about 2:40am this morning. Officers discovered that the operator, Dwayne Holliday, 19, of Dorchester had a suspended license. Officers discovered a loaded 9mm handgun inside the car. A rear seat passenger, James Jones, 26, of Mattapan was arrested and charged with the unlawful possession of the gun. Holliday will be summonsed into court for the license violation.
Six Juveniles Arrested Drinking in Arboretum
Officers in District 5 responded to the Arnold Arboretum at 8:27pm last night on a report of young people drinking. Officers observed five males and one female all drinking from open Budweiser cans of beer. The juveniles, ages 15 and 16, were arrested and had their parents notified.
Dorchester Man Arrested with Loaded Gun
Officers in District 11 responded to 69 Sumner Street at 6:47am yesterday on a report of three males in the rear yard acting suspicious. As officers spoke with the suspects, they discovered a loaded gun in the waistband of one of the men. Terryl Dubose, 18, of Dorchester was arrested for the illegal possession of the gun. Officers also arrested Markeese Skinner, 18, of Dorchester and Joseph Rodriguez, 20, of Norwood for trespassing.

Thank You! for arresting a cambrindge cab picking up in the city! The man is right it is something that we all do….every cabbie picks up in someone elses city! The difference is I dont start my shit in Bpstpn and go to Cambridge to look for people. The Cambridge/Brookline taxis most times do very little work in their own cities.
