Drug Bust at 38 Bromfield StreetMembers of the District 1 Drug Control Unit executed a search warrant at 36 Bromfield Street. Officers observed a female enter the building and exit a short time later. Officers’ observation of this activity and activities earlier in the day led them to believe that the female received drugs while inside the building. Leroi Ambers, 66, of Boston was placed under arrest and charged with Trafficking Class B, Possession of a Class D with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card (3 counts) and Possession of Ammunition without an FID card (3 counts). Officers recovered three firearms, cocaine, marijuana, sifter, grinder and other paraphernalia used in bagging cocaine and US currency.

Drug Arrest at 23 Greenville Street
Early this morning officers on patrol from District 2 observed a male trying to gain entry into 23 Greenville Street. Officers asked the subject the nature of his business on the property and he replied that he was looking for a place to stay out of the rain. Further investigation revealed that the suspect had an active warrant. Wyeth Phelps, 41, of Dorchester was arrested on a warrant for Larceny Over $250 and Possession of Class B. Officers did recover a small plastic bag containing a white rock-like substance from the suspect.
Three Arrested For Armed Robbery
Early this morning a victim who stated that he was just robbed by knifepoint waved officers in District 1 down. The victim reported that his wallet, a cell phone and a black shoulder-strapped bag containing a computer was taken from him. A description of the suspects was broadcasted and officers apprehended William Bianchino, 40, Laurie Fink, 37, and Danye Thomas, 41, all of Boston for Armed Robbery and Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon. Officers were able to recover the victim’s black shoulder bag and also a knife from the suspects.
