Firearm Arrest at Kensington Park and Rockland StreetLast night around 10:34pm officers from the Youth Violence Strike Force along with State Police on sighted and arrested a man for carrying firearm unlawfully. Officers on patrol in the Warren Garden Area observed a group of male congregating in the parking lot of 301 Warren Street. Upon seeing the officers one of the males took off running holding his right front pocket. Officers chased and apprehended Khyeme Johnson, 18, of Roxbury charging him with Unlawful Possession of Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession of Firearm with altered Serial Numbers and Trespassing. The officers did recover a firearm from the suspect.
Lost Claim Ticket Lands Man In Jail
Early this morning around 1:52am officers in District 4 responded to 4 Newbury Street for a report of a male going crazy. Upon arrival officers spoke with the caller who stated that the suspect entered the garage and stated he lost his claim ticket. The caller asked the suspect which car was his and the suspect began going crazy, kicking the window of the booth smashing it and also breaking the garage’s tollgate. When the officers asked the suspect what happened he stated to officers that he could not remember doing it. Anurag Juneja, 28, of Woburn was arrested and charged with Willful Malicious Destruction of Property.
