Two Arrested at TD Banknorth GardenLast night while working a paid detail at the TD Banknorth Garden, an officer assisted two females out of the arena for disturbing the peace and trespassing. The suspects, Sherry Pefine, 23, of Wilmington, and Susan Greenblatt, 25, of Burlington, caused a scene and refused to leave the premises, resulting in their arrests. They were transported to District 1 with charges of disturbing the peace and trespassing.
Man Arrested for Possession of Machete
Last night at approximately 9:59pm, officers responded to the East Boston Health Center for a person being treated for a stab wound. Upon arrival, officers observed Marvin Rivas, 18, of Lynn, to be with the victim. Rivas was pat frisked and found to be in possession of a machete. He was placed under arrest for carrying a machete in public and transported to the police station for booking.
Three Arrested for Armed Robbery
Officers from District 6 responded to 175 Flaherty Way early this morning to a radio call for a person with a gun. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim, a 24-year-old South Boston man who stated he was walking home when he observed a small black car slowly following him. The two unknown suspects, wearing black hooded sweatshirts, exited the vehicle, brandished a firearm, and searched the victim for his wallet. After not finding anything, the suspects got back into the car then fled the scene. A description of the suspects was broadcasted and the suspects were seen on Old Colony Street. The suspects refused to stop for the officers and went through a stoplight. They were eventually stopped at 400 Dorchester Avenue where a pat frisk was conducted on the suspects and the vehicle was searched. A loaded semi-automatic handgun was found under the rear seat of the vehicle and the three suspects were taken into custody. Rene Munoz, 21, Luis Burgos, 20, and Jean Remy, 20, all of Dorchester, were arrested on array of charges, including armed robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and failure to stop for police.
