Man Arrested in Commons for Drug PossessionWhile on assignment at the Boston Common last evening, officers from District A1 observed three black males walking in the Common and smoking a marijuana cigarette. After conducting a threshold inquiry and a pat frisk, officers found one of the suspects to be carrying a small plastic bag of marijuana as well as a bottle of tequila. The suspect was also found to have a warrant against him from the State Police for automobile violation laws out of Roxbury District Court. Jason Spotts, 30, of Dorchester, was arrested and transported to the local police station for booking.
Man Sleeping in Car Arrested on Drug Charges
Early this morning at approximately 1:05am, officers on random patrol at Marginal Road and Washington Street observed a white male slumped over in the passenger seat of a parked vehicle. The officers observed a white rock-like substance on the floorboard of the vehicle between the suspect’s feet. When the suspect was awakened, he was taken into custody for Possession of Class B and Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle. When the suspect was searched, the officers recovered an unknown yellow pill and an unknown white tablet as well. John Foley, 51, of Jamaica Plain was then further charged with Possession of Class E Drugs as well.
