Juvenile Arrested with BB Gun in SchoolYesterday at approximately 11:20am, officers responded to Woodrow Wilson School for a student with a BB gun. Upon arrival, officers spoke to school police who seized the BB gun from the 14-year-old student. The student was arrested and charged with Delinquency to Wit: Unlawful Possession of a Firearm on School Property.
Man Shot on Northampton Street
Officers assigned to District 4 responded to 142 Northampton Street last night at 8:30pm for a person shot. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim being treated by EMS for a gunshot wound to the foot. The victim stated he was sitting on the steps when two unknown males began shooting at him before fleeing toward Shawmut Avenue. The victim, a 40-year-old Boston man, was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Home Invasion on Dudley Street
At about 9:00pm last night, officers responded to Dudley Street on a report of a home invasion. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated she was home with her children when two unknown Hispanic males entered her apartment, armed with a knife and scissors. They stole various items from the apartment before fleeing the apartment in a Toyota Camry. None of the victims were harmed and the incident remains under investigation.
Three Dorchester Residents Arrested with Drugs
This morning at 1:50am while on patrol, an officer at the South Bay Mall observed a motor vehicle parked in the rear of a business near the loading docks. When the officer approached the vehicle, he observed a clear plastic bag containing white pills on the floorboard on the driver side. The officer searched the suspects and the suspect car and seized more white pills and some blue pills. Police arrested Timmy Smith, 37, Joanna Maldonado, 19, and Crystalee Padilla, 19 all of Dorchester for a myriad of drug charges.
Lowell Man Stabbed on Cambridge Street
Officers from District 1 responded to 296 Cambridge Street last night on a report of a person stabbed. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated he was walking on Cambridge Street when an unknown white male and an unknown Hispanic male attacked him. The victim fought back but obtained a small stab wound to his arm. The unknown suspects fled and the victim refused medical attention. A description of the suspects was broadcasted over proper channels and the incident remains under investigation.
Man Arrested for Drugs at Local Church
Officers on patrol at Arlington and Boylston Streets at 5:00am this morning observed an individual lying on a church’s handicap ramp using drugs. The officers seized the drugs and arrested the suspect, 42-year-old John Suttles of Boston on charges of Trespassing and Possession of Class B Drugs.
