Early Morning Crash Fatality Under InvestigationOfficers from District 2 responded to a car crash at Hampden and Eustis Streets early yesterday morning to find one vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The operator of that car was pronounced dead at the scene. The operator of a second vehicle, a school bus, was taken to an area hospital for minor injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Gun and Drugs Recovered in Dorchester Home
District 11 Drug Control officers executed a search warrant at 120 Train Street yesterday around 4:40pm. Seized pursuant to the warrant were a .357 Magnum revolver and 11 rounds of ammunition. Also seized were 20 various sized bags of marijuana and other items used in the sale of narcotics. Hugo Ferreira, 22 of Brockton, Decio Santos, 23 and Edson Silva, 19, both of Dorchester, were arrested in connection with the warrant.

A Boston man was arrested at 10:00pm last night after he ordered food delivered from Good Eats Pizza on Tremont Street and paid for it with a fraudulent credit card number. The pizza shop told police that this same individual called and ordered food delivered on 10 other occasions using different fraudulent credit card numbers. Last night an officer posed as a deliveryman and asked to see the credit card from the suspect before turning over his food. The suspect 20-year-old Adam Nezbeth of Boston was arrested after he could not produce the credit card and was found to have a warrant issued against him for a similar offense. Officers also recovered a piece of paper in Nezbeth’s possession containing the other credit card numbers he allegedly used on past dates.
Loaded Gun Recovered inside Roslindale Apartment
Officers from District 5 responded to a shots fired call at 10:42 last night at 27 Beechland Street in Roslindale. The investigation led officers to apartment 112 where a possible suspect may be located. Inside, officers found Carlique President, 18 of Roslindale sitting in a bedroom with several other persons. A loaded .22 caliber gun was located under a mattress near where President was sitting. Officers placed President under arrest for the illegal possession of the gun. IT is unclear whether the recovered firearm is connected to the shots fired call. Two others, Kaila Matos, 18 and Eric Torres, 23, present in the house, were arrested for outstanding warrants.
Three Stabbed Outside Newbury Street Bar
Officers from District 4 responded to Newbury Street and Fairfield Street for a person stabbed at 1:14am this morning. A detail officer called for backup after a fight erupted between two groups of men outside in the street. The officer was attending to a stab victim in the street when additional help arrived. Two other stab victims were found amongst the crowd and two of the three victims went to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. One male, Ferdinand Abad, 25 of Dorchester was arrested at the scene for being a disorderly person and assaulting a police officer. The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing. A licensed premise violation was issued to the bar for the incident.
