Victim Stabbed While Buying DrugsBoston Officers from District 4 responded to the Quincy Hospital this morning for a report of a person that stated he was stabbed in the Fenway area of Boston. The officers spoke with the 46-year-old male from Quincy who stated that a little after midnight he was stabbed while trying to buy drugs in Boston. The victim was being treated at the hospital for a non-life threatening wound.
Two Arrested for Failing to Register as Sex Offenders
Last night at about 7:07pm, officers from District 1 arrested Stephen Preston, 47, of Roxbury at Boylston and Tremont Street. Preston had failed to register as a sex offender. This morning at 2:03am, officers in District 11 arrested Phillip Watson, 39, of Dorchester for two counts of failing to register as a sex offender and various warrants for violations of the auto laws. Both will be arraigned Monday morning.
The Only Number He’ll Be Hitting is a Booking One
The clerk at the Store 24 on Market Street in Brighton reported to officers that this morning at about 6:55am a suspect entered the store with a large knife and demanded money. The clerk stated he didn’t have any. At that point the suspect grabbed the lottery machine and threw it on the floor. The suspect fled the store in an unknown direction.
St. Mary’s Street Party Ends With Arrests
This morning at about 3:00am, officers from District 4 responded to a party at 100 St. Mary’s Street. The officers spoke with witnesses that stated the party started yesterday afternoon at 4:00pm. When the officers entered the apartment, they observed about 30 opened bottles of beer on a coffee table as well as over 5 empty 30 packs of beer, and drug paraphernalia. Police arrested: Brendan Collins, 20; Taylor McCourt, 18; Christian Smith, 20; Kaitlin Swistak, 18; and a 16-year-old female. They will all be charged with various alcohol and drug violations. They will all be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on Monday morning.
