Suspect Arrested on Blue Hill Avenue with Loaded FirearmOfficers from District 3 were assisting with a large call this morning at about 2:35am when they heard shots fired in the area of 1125 Blue Hill Avenue. The officers responded to the area where the shots were fired and observed a green Honda Accord fleeing from the area at a high rate of speed and operating erratically. Officers were able to stop the vehicle at about 1000 Blue Hill Ave. The operator, Aaron Darnell Sullivan, 24, of South Boston was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm. He will be arraigned this morning in Dorchester District Court.
Two Firearms Recovered and Two Suspects Arrested in East Boston
This morning at about 12:25, officers from East Boston observed two males running up Brooks Street toward Trenton Street. When the males observed the Officers in the marked Boston Police cruiser, both stopped and bent down underneath a red pickup truck and discarded items. Police stopped the two and recovered two loaded firearms under the truck. Both suspects were arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition. Kenneth Valentine, 18 of East Boston and Dawud Abdur Raheem, 20, of Newport, RI will be arraigned this morning in East Boston Court.
Suspect Arrested in Children’s Hospital for Trespassing
Sunday morning at about 10:47, officers from District 2 responded to the Boston Children’s Hospital to assist security with a trespasser. On arrival the officers spoke with security that stated Richard Mullen, 52, of Malden was observed in the infant intensive care unit. The security officer knew the suspect had a no trespass order against him from the hospital. He was found to be in possession of a bag with a red balloon and several wrapped condoms. The suspect was placed under arrest and will be arraigned in the Roxbury District Court.
Six People Arrested in East Boston for Larceny
Sunday morning at about 2:23am, officer from District 7 responded to a radio call for a report of people breaking into a motor vehicle at 400 Border Street. On arrival, the officers observed people fleeing from a stolen 1996 Honda Civic. After a brief foot chase officers arrested the suspects. Additional officers located more suspects hiding in a van in possession of stolen parts of the Honda. The following were arrested: a 15-year-old male from East Boston, Angelica Angel, 44, and Jesus Flores, 22 of Revere, Hamza Kajjame, 18, Edwin Miranda, 17, and Otto Vasquez, 19, all of East Boston. All six will be arraigned in the East Boston Court on Monday Morning and charged with possession of burglarious tools, receiving stolen motor vehicle, and larceny from a motor vehicle.
Student’s Flute Stolen in Back Bay
A 22- year-old female from Allston reports that while working at 150 Massachusetts Avenue between 9:00pm and midnight Saturday night an unknown person stole her Brannen-Cooper Flute valued at about $8,000.
Angry Customer Arrested at the “KFC” in Dorchester
Witnesses positively identified Dana Brown, 42, of Mattapan after he threw a rock breaking a double pane glass window at the “KFC” located at 465 Washington Street. According to witnesses, the suspect was upset that the employees at the store refused to give him food for free. He will be arraigned in the Dorchester District Court on Monday.
Two Bottles, Two Victims, Two Head Injuries
Two male in their 20’s from Marshfield and Fall River found out they had something in common at local Boston hospitals Sunday morning. Both victims were transported to different Emergency Rooms after being hit in their heads with bottles. The incidents occurred on Lansdowne Street and on Canal Street. Police are investigating both incidents; no arrests were made in either assault.
