Dorchester Man Tied Up and RobbedA victim walked into District 3 yesterday to report that he was robbed at gunpoint and tied up on Sunday morning at 12:01am. According to the victim, two males armed with shotguns forced him into his apartment on Brookway Road in Roslindale, tied him up with tape and stole cash and jewelry from him. The victim was able to free himself about a half an hour later. The suspects, described only as two black males with medium builds, fled the apartment with the victim’s property. This incident remains under investigation by District 5 Detectives.
Two People Shot in Dorchester
Officers from District 11 responded to 33 East Street for two people shot at 10:23pm last night. Two victims, a 29-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the face and left arm and a 19-year-old male with apparent gunshot wounds to the face, neck and left arm, were located outside and taken to an area hospital for treatment. Both victims are listed in serious condition. This investigation is ongoing.
Loaded Gun Seized Recovered, One Arrested
Members of the Youth Violence Strike Force were conducting an investigation in the area of Columbia Road and Boston Street last night around 5:36pm. After making observations of a vehicle and its occupants, the car was stopped. Further investigation revealed a loaded 9mm Sig Sauer firearm in the center console of the car. Arrested in connection with the gun was 18-year-old Christopher Quintana of Hyde Park. Other occupants of the car were questioned and released at the scene.
Winston Road Home Hit by Gunshots
Officers from District 3 responded to 29 Winston Road at 2:25am this morning for shots fired. Officers discovered several spent rounds of ammunition in front of 29 Winston Street. Further investigation revealed damage to the outside walls and windows of 29 Winston Street believed to be caused by gunshots. No victims complained of being struck by gunfire. Several pieces of ballistic evidence were recovered. The investigation is ongoing.
