Last night at 6:53pm, officers from District 6 in South Boston responded to 180 O’Callaghan Way on a report of three males flattening tires with ice picks. With the assistance of Boston Housing Authority Police Officers, the District 6 officers located three individuals at Logan Way and O’Callaghan Way fitting the description of the suspects provided by witnesses. All three suspects were positively identified as puncturing four tires on four different motor vehicles in the area. Two of the three suspects were found to be in possession of knives. Police arrested 17-year-old Cesar Cruz, of Randolph and two 16-year-old males from Boston. All three will be arraigned in South Boston District Court for Malicious Destruction of Personal Property on Monday morning.
