At 6:50pm on January 16, 2006 officers from District 2 responded to 10 Aspen Street for a report of a missing 79-year-old male. Officers were informed that the missing man is currently suffering from Alzheimer’s and has not been seen since 8:00am this morning. His name is Rossell Friday Jr. and is described as a black male, 5’11”, with a gray beard and glasses. He was last seen wearing a royal blue coat, a dark green jumpsuit with beige collar and black Reebok sneakers. He frequents the Washington Park Mall area, the Walgreens at Quincy and Warren Streets and the Grove Hall area.Emergency Deployment Teams from each district have been sent to the area and an extensive search is underway. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Mr. Friday or who may have seen a person matching this description is urged to contact the Boston Police.
