Shortly after 2pm today, members of the Boston Police Youth Violence Strike Force, after an intensive fugitive investigation, arrested 24-year-old Barrenton McIntosh of Hyde Park inside of G-15 Algonquin Terrace in Plymouth, MA. The arrest comes just weeks after McIntosh allegedly shot a female in the jaw at 3 Fottler Road in Mattapan and he has been on the run since. The female victim from the December 17th shooting, suffered non-life threatening injuries and is expected to recover. An arrest warrant was sought after the December shooting and information gathered since the incident, led police to Plymouth today where McIntosh was taken into custody.McIntosh was taken from Plymouth back to Boston and booked. He is charged with Armed Assault with Intent to Murder, Unlawful carrying of a Firearm/Ammunition. Arraignment will be on Monday January 9, at West Roxbury District Court. McIntosh was also wanted on a Suffolk Superior Court warrant for several firearms violations.
