Traffic Stop in Dorchester Results in Gun Seizure and Drug ArrestAround 0005hrs this morning 01/05/06, Police Officers from District 3 in Mattapan, stopped a motor vehicle for a traffic violation at Washington Street and Dunlap Street in Dorchester. Further investigation of the two individuals in the motor vehicle resulted in a .22 caliber firearm being recovered as well as drugs. Fernando Roscoe 26, of Dorchester and Andrew Riddick 30, of Dorchester were both arrested.
14 Year-Old Juvenile Arrested for Unarmed Robbery in Hyde Park
Around 2217rs on 01/04/06, a Boston Police Sergeant observed a female and a male involved in a violent struggle in the area of 840 River Street in Hyde Park. As the Sergeant approached the two individuals, the male fled the scene on foot and was observed stuffing a black object into his waist area. The juvenile suspect then discarded a black purse as he was being pursued. The suspect was placed under arrest for Unarmed Robbery. The victim was not injured.
