Officers from District 2 responded to the Boston Day and Evening Academy this afternoon at 2:20pm, after receiving information of shots fired inside the building located at 20 Kearsarge Avenue in Roxbury. On arrival both people involved in the incident, which occurred in second floor bathroom, had fled the area.Tonight at 7:20pm, Rodney Christopher Hoskins, 17, of Mattapan was presented to police at District 2 by his mother and uncle. Hoskins was placed under arrest and charged with Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. He will be arraigned in Roxbury District Court tomorrow morning.
