Five Boston Men Arrested After Fleeing From Boston Police

Boston Police Officers conducting a motor vehicle stop at Woodrow Street and Norfolk Street in Dorchester early this morning, resulted in 5 Boston men being arrested in Milton. After initially stopping for the Police Officers, the suspects in the motor vehicle suddenly fled the scene at a high rate of speed. The suspects at one point accelerated the motor vehicle toward a marked Boston Police unit that was attempting to assist in stopping the suspects. The Police Officer was forced to utilize defensive driving maneuvers to avoid being struck by the suspect vehicle. The officers pursued the vehicle into Milton and were assisted by several other Boston Police units, State Police, and Milton Police.The suspect vehicle did finally come to a stop on Route 138 in Milton and all 5 suspects were placed under arrest. Four of the suspects in the motor vehicle were charged with possession of Class B with intent to distribute:
Stanley Young 18, of Roxbury Charles Devoe 19, Roxbury
Lamory Gray 20, Jamaica Plain James Finch 20, Jamaica Plain
The operator of the suspect motor vehicle Nasean Johnson, 21, of Mattapan, will be charged with the following:
Assault By Means of a Dangerous Weapon on a Police Officer
Resisting Arrest
Failure to stop for a Police Officer
Possession of Class B with intent to Distribute
All of the suspects will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court
