The Boston Police Department’s “Junior Police Academy” is still going strong as this fun summer rolls on!
Youth from District E-5 (Roslindale and West Roxbury) and District E-18 (Hyde Park) enjoyed a busy week exploring the city with our officers and taking part in a variety of activities, including a Duck Tour trip, a visit to the Boston Sports Museum at TD Garden, a visit to the movies, and much more.
The week also gave our future leaders a closer look at the work of the BPD, with K-9 and Bomb Squad demonstrations from our officers as well as a boat ride with members of the Boston Police Harbor Patrol Unit.
A special thank you to the Boston Police Foundation, and our incredible partners at Boston Duck Tours, the Boston Sports Museum and Tree Top Adventures, for helping make these experiences possible and providing our youth with memorable opportunities throughout the summer!
