On May 2, 2026, Soto-Lugo contacted a family member and stated she was safe and staying with a friend, but did not disclose her location.
Soto-Lugo is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, with a medium build, brown eyes, and brown shoulder-length hair with a blonde streak worn in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing dark blue sweatpants and a blue Nike tech hoodie.
The Boston Police Department is actively working to locate Mineidys Soto-Lugo and urges anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to call 911 or contact District B-3 Detectives at (617) 343-2309.
