At about 10:01 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, officers assigned to District A-7 (East Boston) responded to a radio call for an assault in progress in the area of 11 Paris Street in East Boston.
Upon arrival, officers located the male victim who was suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim stated he was attacked by two unknown black males wearing ski masks. The victim stated he was approached by the two suspects who demanded the victim’s personal belongings including his scooter. The victim stated he refused and the two suspects began to attack him. The victim stated he attempted to flee from the suspects towards Sumner Street.
At this time, a witness who observed the altercation, exited his vehicle in an effort to help the victim, eventually removing a knife from one of the suspects, which he then discarded. A second witness stated he observed the two suspects making jabbing gestures towards the victim’s body. The suspects then fled the area.
Upon further investigation, officers were able to locate two knives wrapped together in duct tape along with a cell phone on the handicap ramp at the intersection of Sumner Street and Paris Street. Upon securing the items, officers observed one of the suspects return to the scene, stating he was looking for his cell phone. The suspect was subsequently identified and taken into custody,
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
During the booking process, officers located a ski mask among the suspect’s possessions.
Officers arrested a 15-year-old juvenile male of Boston who was charged with Aggravated Assault and Armed and Masked Robbery.
The suspect is expected to be arraigned in Suffolk County Juvenile Court.
