At about 7:33 PM on Saturday, October 18, 2025, members of the Youth Violence Strike Force made an on-site firearm arrest following a traffic stop at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Schuyler Street in Roxbury.
While on patrol, officers observed a vehicle displaying Rhode Island registration plates that were later determined to be canceled and attached to a different make and model. Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop and identified the operator as 44-year-old Sandley Pierre Louis, of Providence, Rhode Island. Further investigation revealed that the suspect did not possess a valid driver’s license in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.
During the investigation, officers recovered a P80 “Ghost Gun” loaded with one round in the chamber and twelve rounds in the magazine, located in the area of the vehicle’s sunroof. The firearm was secured and rendered safe on scene.
Pierre Louis was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on the following charges:
- Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (Third Offense)
- Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device
- Unlawful Possession of Ammunition
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm
- Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a License
- Operating an Unregistered and Uninsured Motor Vehicle
- Attaching Plates
