BPD in the Community: Boston Police Host Flashlight Walk in Jamaica Plain

The Boston Police Department hosted another successful Flashlight Walk, this time through the streets of Jamaica Plain!

Led by Command Staff, officers from District E-13, and the Bureau of Community Engagement, the walk brought together residents, community partners, and youth to promote safety, unity, and connection.

With BPD flashlights in hand, participants walked side by side – showing a shared commitment to visibility and stronger neighborhoods. Along the route, officers and community members had meaningful conversations, shared concerns, and continued building trust in a safe and welcoming environment.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help light the way forward!
