On Friday, July 19, 2025, officers assigned to the Drug Control Units of District E-5 (Roslindale/ West Roxbury) and E-13 (Jamaica Plain) arrested Marcus Hurt, 39, of Roslindale, for drug trafficking.
At about 12:06 PM, officers were conducting a drug investigation in the area of 202 Dunwell Avenue, Roslindale. Surveillance was made of the suspect exiting the building and was stopped by officers at 4399 Washington Street.
Officers advised the suspect that they had a search warrant for his body, and his residence. A search was conducted, and $2,667 in U.S. currency was recovered from the suspect’s person.
Lawful entrance was made into an apartment and officers executed their search warrant. The evidence that was recovered was a plastic bag containing twenty-eight grams of crack cocaine, one plastic bag containing eighteen grams of cocaine, and a digital scale.
Hurt was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court for Trafficking of Class B.
