BPD Community Alert: Detectives Seek Public’s Help Identifying Individuals in Ongoing Larceny Investigation

The Boston Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals shown in the accompanying images as part of an ongoing larceny investigation.

The incident occurred on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Macy’s store located at 450 Washington Street in Downtown Boston. According to the victim, two individuals entered the store and attempted to purchase several thousand dollars’ worth of merchandise. During the transaction, the cashier counted the cash provided, but the suspects repeatedly requested to have the money returned for recounting. On the final exchange, the suspects allegedly removed a substantial amount of cash before handing the remaining money back to the cashier.
