Cancel BPD Community Alert: Detectives assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) and the Fugitive Unit are no longer seeking the public’s assistance in locating Adam McCree, 28, of Dorchester. McCree is wanted on probable cause for Attempted Kidnapping, and Assault and Battery in relation to an incident that occurred on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at about 4:37 AM in South Boston. He also has multiple warrants out of Boston and New York. His last known location was in Dorchester, and he may have fled the area to New York.

McCree is described as a black male, about 5’07”, brown eyes, black hair, and a thin build. He has a tattoo on his neck of prayer hands.

As a general reminder, community members are encouraged to remain aware of their surroundings, avoid distractions such as phones or headphones when walking alone at night, and report any suspicious activity to 911.
