About 11:03 PM on Saturday, April 19, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to the area of 2343 Washington Street, Roxbury, for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers observed Andrew Owens, 38, of Boston suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. A second victim self-applied to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries
