At about 6:39 PM on Tuesday June 25th, 2024, District A-1 Officers assigned to the Downtown Crossing Walking Beat made an on-site arrest of Erin Splaine, 36, of Charlestown at the intersection of Winter St. and Winter Place, Downtown Boston.
Officers were on a bicycle patrol of the Downtown Crossing area and their attention was drawn to a large group of people in a Winter Place alleyway. Officers immediately noticed the suspect Erin Splaine to be within the group. Officers recognized her from the Boston Police “Most Wanted” list and from previous encounters.
Splaine was arrested and is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court for warrants including the charges of Breaking & Entering Nighttime and Breaking & Entering Daytime. Splaine was also charged with Carrying Dangerous Weapon (Pepper Spray).
