At about 1:13 PM, on Friday, June 14, 2024, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) arrested Christine Ann Oliveira, 46, of Cambridge, on vandalism charges.
Officers were advised that a female outside of the district station was throwing unknown objects at parked police cruisers. As officers exited the station, they observed a female holding a brick in her right hand.
Officers ordered the suspect to drop the brick which she refused. After multiple verbal commands, the suspect dropped the brick and was placed into handcuffs. The suspect began to be combative and kicked two officers. Officers later observed damage and smashed windows to two unmarked Boston Police vehicles.
Oliveira was placed under arrest and charged with Malicious Destruction of Property over $1,200, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer. She was arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
