At about 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit arrested, Triston Jules, 37, of Mattapan, in the area of Talbot Avenue and Whitfield Street. At the time of the arrest, the suspect was wanted on warrants for murder issued out of Suffolk Superior Court for the murder of George Deeble, 42, of Dorchester. Triston Jules is expected to be arraigned in the Dorchester District Court.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the homicide are as follows: At about 4:44 AM on Saturday April 27, 2024, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to the area of Blue Hill Ave and Fremont St for reports of a person shot. Upon arrival the officers located George Deeble, 42, of Dorchester, suffering from life threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
