A special visit to District A-1!
Officers from District A-1 were proud to welcome Special Olympian David Nicholson to Boston and show him around the city.
David, a hockey fan from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, has earned numerous gold medals in powerlifting in the Special Olympics and other prestigious competitions. During his visit, our officers gave him a tour of the district station, took him for a drive through Downtown Boston, and made a special stop at TD Garden at the Bobby Orr statue!
Thank you for spending time with us, David! It was a pleasure meeting you and your Mom on your first trip to Boston. Everyone at the Boston Police Department wishes you good health and continued success!
