Arrest Made in Connection to Homicide on Hyde Park Avenue

On Friday, October 9, 2026, Boston Police Officers arrested Christian Peebles, 18, of Boston, in connection to the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Darryl Aleo. Peebles has been charged with Murder and will be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.

The arrest follows an investigation into an incident that occurred at approximately 5:09 PM on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Officers responded to a radio call for a person shot at 1171 Hyde Park Avenue, where they located Aleo suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
