Commissioner Cox, members of Command Staff, and members of the Boston Police Department recently joined together to celebrate National Forensic Science Week and recognize the dedicated women and men of our Forensic Division.
Comprised of both sworn officers and civilian personnel, the Forensic Division provides critical expertise and services that support investigations throughout the City of Boston.
Their work includes crime scene processing, evidence examination, firearms analysis, latent print processing and comparison, impression evidence collection and comparison, trace evidence examination, and digital evidence.
We are proud to recognize the skill, dedication, and attention to detail our Forensic Division brings to their work every day.
