At approximately 3:59 AM on Friday, September 18, 2026, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a disturbance in the area of 150 Freeport Street (Peter’s Towing) in Dorchester.
While enroute, officers received information via BPD Operations that a group of males were cutting through the fencing at the aforementioned location and stealing motorcycles that were inside of the tow lot.
Upon arrival, officers were directed to an individual who was running out of the tow lot. Officers gave chase and eventually were able to apprehend the suspect in the area of 18 Clayton Street.
Additional responding officers were notified that a second male had jumped over the fence and returned to the rear of the tow lot when the officers had arrived. Officers searched the tow lot and were able to locate a second suspect who was found hiding underneath a truck.
As officers searched the area, they recovered the three stolen motorcycles next to a bush outside of 18 Clayton Street. The stolen motorcycles were returned to the tow lot.
Officers arrested a 16-year-old male of Dorchester and a 17-year-old male of Dorchester. Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on charges of Breaking and Entering Nighttime for Felony, Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, and Trespassing.
