Boston Police Targeted Enforcement Leads to Multiple Moped and Scooter Violations

At about 7:33 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, officers assigned to District 3 (Mattapan) conducted targeted enforcement focused on unregistered mopeds and scooters within the district.

Throughout the operation, officers towed seven (7) mopeds/scooters, issued multiple motor vehicle citations, and issued one (1) criminal summons.

The Boston Police Department remains committed to improving traffic safety and will continue to conduct enforcement operations across the city.
