Wrapping up our photos from this summer’s Boston Junior Police Academy!
Youth from District A-7 (East Boston) spent another action-packed week with the officers who serve their community.
The group stayed busy with a full lineup of activities, including bowling, laser tag, fishing, and learned more about what our K-9 officers and their four legged partners do, the duties of our Explosive Ordnance Unit and the campers cruised around Boston Harbor, learning the role our BPD Harbor Patrol Unit plays in keeping the City safe.
A special thank you to our amazing partners at the Boston Police Foundation, Boston Duck Tours, TD Garden, the Boston Sports Museum, and Tree Top Adventures for helping create these memorable experiences for the youth we proudly serve! We also want to thank our officers at the K-9, Harbor, and Explosive Ordinance Unit’s for their help all summer long!
