At about 10:09 p.m., officers assigned to District 4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a found firearm at 39 Dalton Street, which resulted in the arrest of Austin Glover, 29, of Randolph, on multiple firearm-related charges, and Corron Wilson, 27, of Randolph, for trespassing and malicious destruction of property.
Officers arrived at 39 Dalton Street and were advised that security had removed two individuals from the premises and that one of the males had left a bag behind on a countertop containing a black firearm. Security personnel were able to provide officers with accurate descriptions of both males, and officers safely secured the unattended firearm.
Inside the bag, officers observed identification cards belonging to the owner, who was determined to be Austin Glover, 29, of Randolph.
District Detectives arrived on the scene, took possession of the firearm and bag, and reviewed security footage of the incident. The footage depicted Glover in direct possession of the bag containing the firearm, and he was identified as the individual pictured in the video based on his Massachusetts driver’s license.
At approximately 10:55 p.m., officers located two males matching the original descriptions inside the loading dock at 800 Boylston Street. Upon approach, officers observed both males breaking the vehicle gate. Officers immediately intervened and safely placed both males in handcuffs. Officers on scene recognized both males from the earlier security footage, which showed Glover in possession of the bag containing the black firearm. Officers were also made aware that both individuals had been issued no-trespass notices for the area earlier that evening, at approximately 8:48 p.m.
Detectives determined that the firearm was a black Taurus PT140 Millennium G2, loaded with a total of nine (9) rounds, including one (1) round in the chamber.
Austin Glover is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on the following charges:
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm Without a License
- Possession of Ammunition Without an FID Card
- Malicious Destruction of Property
- Trespass
Corron Wilson is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on the following charges:
- Malicious Destruction of Property
- Trespass
