Commissioner Cox, members of the Boston Police Department and our non-profit partners at the Boston Police Foundation, took part in a memorable send off this weekend. The Foundation sponsored a trip for six youth basketball teams to travel to Connecticut to compete in the Boston vs. Connecticut All-Star – battle New England tournament.
Before heading out, players, coaches, and families gathered at Town Field in Dorchester, where Commissioner Cox and Boston Police Foundation Board member, Paula McLaughlin offered words of encouragement and wished the teams luck.
