Investigation Update: About 10:00 PM, on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, Teudi Dume, 19, of Roxbury, surrendered himself to District B-2 (Roxbury). At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on a warrant obtained by District B-2 (Roxbury) Detectives issued out of Roxbury District Court for the following charges:
- Armed robbery
- Assault and battery
- Assault with a dangerous weapon
At about 6:00 AM, on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, members of the Youth Violence Strike Force arrested Brian Quinonez, 18, of Dorchester, in the area 81 McLellan Street, Dorchester. At the time of the arrest, the suspect was wanted on a warrant obtained by District B-2 (Roxbury) Detectives issued out of Roxbury District Court for the following charges:
- Armed robbery
- Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon
- Assault with a dangerous weapon
- Assault and battery
Both suspects were arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, officers and detectives from Districts B-2 (Roxbury) and B-3 (Mattapan) executed a search warrant in the area of 81 McLellan Street. As a result of the search warrant, officers located and recovered a high capacity magazine that was loaded with thirty-two rounds of ammunition.
The Auto Theft Unit also seized three dirt bikes and two motorcycles from the property.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: At about 3:30 AM, on Sunday, July 12, 2026, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) were on patrol in the area of 668 Dudley Street. Police were approached by two victims who advised officers that they were robbed. A group of suspects armed with firearms physically assaulted the victims. The suspects stole the victims’ moped, jewelry, clothing and cellphones. Boston EMS was requested to respond and transported both victims to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
