Missing Person Alert: The Boston Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in efforts to locate 84-year-old James Clarke, of Roxbury, who was reported missing on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Clarke was last seen leaving his residence on Hawthorne Street in Roxbury at approximately 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
Clarke is described as a black male, 5’11” in height and 140 lbs in weight. Clarke was last seen wearing a black hat and a blue flannel shirt. Clarke suffers from Dementia and may be walking with a limp.
Clarke is known to frequent Nubian Square, Ruggles Station, Stop and Shop locations, and various MBTA routes and bus stops.
The Boston Police Department is actively working to locate James Clarke and urges anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to call 911 or contact District B-2 (Roxbury) Detectives at (617) 343-4275.
