Missing Person Alert: The Boston Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in efforts to locate 17-year-old Sy’Rai Avery who was reported missing on Friday, July 24, 2026. Avery was last seen leaving her residence on Browning Avenue at approximately 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 23, 2026.
Avery is described as a black female, 6’2” in height, 200 lbs in weight, with long brown and blonde braids, and a tattoo of roses on her left forearm. Avery was last seen wearing a blue baseball jersey and black biker shorts. Avery has ties to the Cambridge area.
The Boston Police Department is actively working to locate Sy’rai Avery and urges anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to call 911 or contact District B-3 (Mattapan) Detectives at (617) 343-4712.
