On July 21, 2026, at approximately 11:05 a.m., members of the C-11 (Dorchester) Drug Control Unit, the C-6 (South Boston) Drug Control Unit, and B-3 (Mattapan) officers executed two search warrants in Mattapan.
The warrants, issued by the Dorchester District Court, authorized a search of 117 Deering Road and a search of the person of an individual identified during the investigation as Sean Pereira, 34, of Mattapan.
Officers approached the address and made contact with the target of the investigation at the front door. Additional officers then arrived to execute the search warrants, and Pereira was taken into custody without incident.
A search of 117 Deering Road recovered a 9mm semi-automatic firearm loaded with ten rounds of ammunition, along with drug distribution paraphernalia, including a digital scale, a cutting agent, and packaging materials.
A search of Pereira’s person recovered approximately 22 grams of crack cocaine along with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.
Two additional individuals inside the residence, Eliezer Carasquillo, 42, of Dorchester, and Rondelle Neal, 42, were found to have outstanding default warrants and were taken into custody. Carasquillo’s default warrant stemmed from a charge of possession of a Class B substance. Neal’s default warrant stemmed from a charge of assault and battery on a pregnant victim.
Pereira was transported to Nashua Street Jail and booked without incident. He faces the following charges:
